About

Natacha Poggio is a multidisciplinary designer and an Assistant Professor of Visual Communication Design at the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford, Connecticut.

Natacha holds a Master of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In her design work, Natacha examines how people interact with objects and environments and looks for ways to expand the awareness of the physical senses to make these interactions aesthetically pleasing and functional for the greatest number of users.

In her teaching, Natacha approaches learning as a transformative experience. She wants her students to become personally engaged with the course material – to perceive it as something directly relevant to their own lives. Natacha's hope is that her students will feel changed by participating in her classes.
